Impact investing is still on the margins, what's holding it back?
Finance-trained.
Systems-oriented.
Futures-focused.
Strategic advisor and foresight practitioner working at the intersection of impact capital allocation and systems change.
Why this work exists.
Clémence spent years inside international financial institutions before a question started nagging at her: the capital was there, the intent was there, so why wasn't it reaching the most transformative work?
Her path took her through BNP Paribas and Bank of America, across Paris and Singapore, spanning wealth management, asset management, investment banking, and Inspection Générale. A 360° view of how finance actually moves.
That question became The Uplift. She now works with foundations, investors, and policymakers using strategic foresight and Causal Layered Analysis to surface what's actually preventing impact capital from reaching the most transformative work: the invisible assumptions, the structural conditions, the narratives nobody thought to question.
Her analysis has been featured by Impact Entrepreneur and endorsed by UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies, Professor Sohail Inayatullah.
